IPPEDIA is an independent membership-based Intellectual Property Professionals Directory & Knowledge Platform providing access to factual professional information relating to eligible Members together with Intellectual Property knowledge resources, including Intellectual Property case laws, official IP quick links, legal updates, educational resources and other IP-related information.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with this Policy together with the Terms & Conditions, Copyright Policy and other applicable Platform Policies.
1. Ownership of Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise expressly stated, all intellectual property rights relating to the Platform are owned by or licensed to IPPEDIA.
Such intellectual property includes, without limitation:
- Platform name and branding.
- Logos, graphics and icons.
- Website design and layout.
- Software, source code and databases.
- Articles, educational resources and publications.
- Compilation, arrangement and presentation of content.

By submitting such content, Members grant IPPEDIA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display, reproduce and use such content for operating the Platform and Professional Directory in accordance with applicable Platform Policies.
4. Permitted Use
Users may access Platform content solely for lawful personal, informational and educational purposes.
No ownership rights are transferred merely because content is viewed or accessed through the Platform.
5. Restricted Use
Without prior written permission from IPPEDIA or the respective rights holder, Users shall not:
- Copy or reproduce substantial Platform content.
- Republish Platform materials.
- Commercially exploit Platform content.
- Modify, translate or create derivative works.
- Redistribute Platform databases or Professional Directory content.
- Remove copyright, trademark or proprietary notices.
6. Trademarks
"IPPEDIA", associated logos, branding elements and other identifying marks are proprietary intellectual property of IPPEDIA unless otherwise stated.
Nothing contained on the Platform grants any licence or right to use any trademark without prior written permission of the respective owner.
7. Copyright
Original content published by IPPEDIA is protected under applicable copyright laws.
Use of copyrighted material is governed by the Copyright Policy and Copyright Infringement Policy available on the Platform.
8. Professional Directory
The compilation, arrangement, structure and presentation of the Professional Directory constitute valuable intellectual property of IPPEDIA.
Users shall not systematically extract, reproduce or reuse substantial portions of the Professional Directory without prior written permission.
9. Government and Public Information
The Platform may include references, links or publicly available information obtained from Government authorities, Intellectual Property Offices or other official sources.
Such information remains subject to the intellectual property rights and usage conditions of the respective authorities.
10. Reporting Intellectual Property Violations
Any person who believes that their intellectual property rights have been infringed may submit a complaint through the Contact Page together with supporting information.
IPPEDIA may review such complaints in accordance with its Copyright Infringement Policy and applicable law.
11. Reservation of Rights
All intellectual property rights not expressly granted under this Policy are reserved by IPPEDIA and the respective intellectual property owners.

IPPEDIA may amend this Intellectual Property Policy from time to time. Updated versions shall become effective immediately upon publication on the Platform.
