IPPEDIA is an independent membership-based Intellectual Property Professionals Directory & Knowledge Platform. The Platform facilitates access to factual professional information relating to eligible Members together with Intellectual Property knowledge resources, including case laws, official IP quick links, articles, educational resources and other IP-related information.
1. Nature of the Platform
IPPEDIA operates solely as an independent membership-based Intellectual Property Professionals Directory & Knowledge Platform.
The Professional Directory contains factual professional information voluntarily submitted by eligible Members.
The Knowledge Platform provides access to Intellectual Property case laws, official IP quick links, educational resources and other publicly available Intellectual Property information.
2. Eligibility
Access to the Platform is available to all users. Membership is available only to eligible persons in accordance with the Membership Policy and other applicable policies adopted by IPPEDIA from time to time.
3. Professional Directory
Professional Profiles published on IPPEDIA are intended solely to facilitate access to factual professional information relating to eligible Members.
Publication of a Professional Profile does not constitute advertisement, solicitation, endorsement, recommendation, certification, ranking or guarantee by IPPEDIA.
4. Member Responsibilities
Members shall be responsible for:
- Providing accurate and truthful professional information.
- Updating information whenever necessary.
- Ensuring that submitted information does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
- Maintaining confidentiality of account credentials.
5. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
- Respect applicable laws and professional standards.
- Independently verify professional qualifications, registrations, credentials and suitability before engaging any professional services.
- Not misuse or interfere with the operation of the Platform.
6. No Professional Relationship
Use of the Platform does not create any advocate-client relationship, attorney-client relationship, agency, partnership, employment or fiduciary relationship between IPPEDIA and any User or Member.
7. No Advertisement or Recommendation
IPPEDIA does not advertise, solicit, recommend, endorse, compare, certify, rank or guarantee any Member, professional, law firm, organisation or service.
Professional Profiles are published solely to provide factual professional information relating to eligible Members.
8. No Legal Advice
The information made available on the Platform is provided solely for informational and educational purposes.
Nothing contained on the Platform shall be construed as legal advice, professional advice or legal opinion.
9. Intellectual Property Resources
Case laws, official quick links, articles and other Intellectual Property resources are provided for informational and educational purposes only.
Users should independently verify the latest legal position before relying upon any information.
10. Intellectual Property Rights
The Platform, including its design, layout, text, graphics, logos and other content, is protected by applicable Intellectual Property laws.

IPPEDIA reserves the right to suspend, restrict or terminate any Member account or remove any Professional Profile that violates these Terms & Conditions or applicable Platform policies.

IPPEDIA may modify, update, suspend or discontinue any feature, service or content of the Platform at any time without prior notice.
16. Changes to these Terms
IPPEDIA may amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated versions shall become effective immediately upon publication on the Platform.
17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Subject to applicable law, the Courts at Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to disputes arising from the use of the Platform.
