BCI Social Media Ethics Guidelines 2026 for Lawyers or Advocates

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has taken a significant step toward regulating the online conduct of legal professionals by issuing a 37-page circular dated 17 July 2026 titled "Maintenance of Dignity, Restraint and Professional Ethics in the Use of Social Media by Advocates, Law Students and Interns."
